Heavy use or abuse of alcohol, marijuana, street drugs or prescription medications can cause major problems with emotional-behavioral development and control. Even infrequent use of substances in persons with attention, anxiety, mood, impulse control and learning disorders can prevent effective treatment of these conditions. The Center offers comprehensive diagnostic, case management, and treatment services for all addictions and other compulsive behaviors like eating, exercise, gambling, and sex. Treatment for persons with mental illness and addiction in carefully integrated using a family therapy model. Drs. McDuff, Deluty, and Morse offer services in this area.
