Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry
Dr. Jackson joined the Center in 2022 and is a general psychiatrist as well as a child and adolescent psychiatrist. She provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical focus includes the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma related conditions, and attention disorders, with an emphasis on thoughtful evaluation and individualized treatment planning.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 2003 and completed her medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2017. Her general psychiatry residency was completed at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she received extensive training in evidence based psychiatric care across diverse and complex clinical settings. She went on to complete a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Maryland and Sheppard Pratt in 2022, further strengthening her expertise in developmentally informed treatment.
Her professional experience includes working with patients across the lifespan and addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. She is particularly attentive to the ways trauma, mood, anxiety, and attention related challenges can impact daily functioning, relationships, and overall well being. Care is approached with a strong appreciation for each patient’s developmental stage, life context, and support system.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jackson lives locally with her husband and children.
